At the Charles-County Animal Care Center:
197774-Meet Knight, a 10-month-old Lab mix who is on a noble quest to find his very own kingdom! Knight is housebroken, loves hanging out in a fenced-in backyard, and is always ready to grab his leash and head out for a walk. He’s an active, happy boy who thinks life is best enjoyed with plenty of exploring, playing, and good times! He’s good with kids 2 years old and up and would love a home where he can be part of the family. As for toys? Knight has opinions. The squeakers must be DESTROYED. It is apparently his sacred duty. So his new family should stock up on tough, durable toys because regular toys don't stand a chance against this little toy assassin.
If your backyard has room for zoomies, your toy box has a high-security budget, and your heart has room for one happy young Knight, come meet him! Adoption hours are Monday-Friday 11am-4pm and Saturday 10am-3pm.

197717-LOKI BOY IS LOOKING FOR HIS PEOPLE!
Meet Loki Boy, a handsome 6-year-old Lab mix who is ready to find his forever home, preferably one where the humans are fully grown and nobody expects him to share his toys with tiny humans. This guy has plenty of fun packed into him! He LOVES car rides, does great in his crate, and enjoys hanging out with other dogs. He thinks cats are potential play buddies too, but he actually understands when a cat says, “Back off, buddy,” and respects their boundaries. Loki is also a toy enthusiast, so please skip the dainty toys. He needs the “built like a tank” collection because his enthusiasm tends to turn toys into confetti. Loki is looking for a patient home that will give him guidance, structure, and plenty of encouragement. With a little direction and someone willing to show him the ropes, this boy has all the ingredients to become an absolutely wonderful companion. If you're looking for a fun-loving Lab mix with personality, potential, and a serious appreciation for road trips and durable toys, Loki Boy is the one! He is waiting for you at the Charles County Animal Care Center.

197824-Greenbean may be only 3 months old, but this little guy has already mastered the fine art of turning an ordinary room into an Olympic-level zoomie track. He’s your classic playful kitten who believes toys are for chasing, cat trees are for climbing, and absolutely everything must be investigated immediately. A home with a cat tree would be right up his alley because Greenbean has places to go, things to climb, and approximately zero time to waste! When he isn’t busy bouncing around like a tiny furry bean with a motor attached, Greenbean is hoping to find a forever family who will keep him entertained, loved, and supplied with plenty of kitten-approved fun. Greenbean is part of the MD3000 promotion going on this month. His adoption fee is waived.

At St. Mary's Adoption and Resource Center:
Meet this sweet beauty named Blanca! This girl is very nervous when first meeting new people but will quickly adjust given time. Blanca does not appear confident in herself just yet. She depends on her human for comfort and will need a family that will help her become more confident! Due to an incident in her previous adoptive home, we would not recommend Blanca be adopted into a home with other dogs, cats or small animals. She is extremely timid, and young children may frighten her. This girl is looking for someone, preferably with GSD experience, that can build her confidence and provide her with a safe and patient home. Adoption applications can be submitted in person at the St. Mary's County Animal Adoption & Resource Center located at 22975 FDR Blvd California, MD 20619 View all adoptable animals here: https://www.stmaryscountymd.gov/animalshelter/Adoptable/
